The Staff Technical Program Manager leads the planning and execution of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing cross-functional dependencies. This role requires expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and technical solution design to drive successful delivery of scalable, high-quality outcomes. The position involves coordinating multiple teams, resolving ambiguities, and implementing operational excellence frameworks.

The team focuses on mitigating risks, managing dependencies, and maintaining clear communication to achieve impactful outcomes across various programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define program goals, deliverables, schedules, and critical paths to manage multiple medium to high-complexity programs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Secure commitment from cross-functional teams and manage dependencies to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Translate product requirements into technical designs and collaborate on system architecture for scalability and performance.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans to maintain quality and timelines.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and updates clearly to stakeholders and teams using appropriate channels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance program delivery.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence frameworks including monitoring, alerting, and release management.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in program management techniques, tools, and frameworks to plan and deliver multiple medium to high-complexity programs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Strong technical knowledge of system architecture, cloud infrastructure, software platforms, and service management concepts including ITIL.
  • Ability to independently manage risks, budgets, and cross-functional dependencies while driving program execution and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to build alignment, communicate progress, and resolve issues across teams.
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities to synthesize data, identify solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills to prepare clear reports and engage with technical and business audiences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 3 years’ experience in product design.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
