About the role
As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead strategy and execution for complex products, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires deep customer and technical insight, strong stakeholder collaboration, and ownership of multi-quarter product vision and roadmaps. You will influence product direction through data-driven decision making, emerging technology integration, and rigorous prioritization. Acting as a subject matter authority, you will mentor peers and elevate product management practices while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and delivering measurable impact across the product lifecycle.

The team leads product strategy and execution for Walmart Connect’s reporting products, delivering measurable business value through data-driven roadmaps and emerging technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, it emphasizes deep customer and market understanding to shape product vision and drive innovation. Members influence key stakeholders and manage the product lifecycle from discovery to launch and optimization. The team fosters continuous improvement, rigorous decision-making, and operational excellence to support Walmart’s goals and enhance the customer experience through strategic product leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute multi-quarter product vision and strategy for complex or related products, aligning with business goals.
- Build deep customer and market understanding using data analysis, design thinking, and feedback mechanisms to prioritize product initiatives.
- Own product roadmaps, managing discovery, development, launch, and post-launch value realization with cross-functional teams.
- Drive data-driven decision making through advanced analytics, experimentation, and AI opportunity assessment.
- Influence technical direction by collaborating with Engineering on architecture, feasibility, and innovation.
- Mentor product managers, promoting rigorous discovery and launch readiness.
- Align stakeholders and communicate product plans to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management.
- Option 2: 9 years’ experience in product management or related area.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility.

San Bruno, California: $143,000.00 – $286,000.00
Hoboken, New Jersey: $132,000.00 – $264,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock.
