(USA) Senior, Software Engineer

Position Summary

Designs and implements software solutions, tests code, manages programming tasks, tracks bugs, produces documentation, recommends changes, stays updated with development tools, and maintains confidentiality.

What You Will Do

• Gather requirements to design and plan software solutions
• Writes code in accordance with company standards and guidelines
• Tests code for correctness and performance
• Manages programming tasks and meets deadlines
• Produces internal and external documentation for software components
• Recommends changes and improvements to the shared codebase
• Stays up-to-date with current development tools, processes, and techniques
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3-5 Years Of Development Experience
• Expert experience with .NET and C#
• Expert ability to troubleshoot, debug, and performance tune software code
• Demonstratable experience building and supporting reliable, always on backend services
• Experience building solutions using AWS and Terraform
• Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration systems
• Experience with scalable distributed systems
• Experience working with databases (Postgres, Redis, MySQL, Mongo)
• Experience With Angular Or Other Comparable Modern Frontend Tools
• Excellent communications skills: strong verbal and written communication, adaptable to audience
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, careful approach to handling issues
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
