Position Summary
Designs and implements software solutions, tests code, manages programming tasks, tracks bugs, produces documentation, recommends changes, stays updated with development tools, and maintains confidentiality.
What You Will Do
- Gather requirements to design and plan software solutions
- Writes code in accordance with company standards and guidelines
- Tests code for correctness and performance
- Manages programming tasks and meets deadlines
- Produces internal and external documentation for software components
- Recommends changes and improvements to the shared codebase
- Stays up-to-date with current development tools, processes, and techniques
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 Years Of Development Experience
- Expert experience with .NET and C#
- Expert ability to troubleshoot, debug, and performance tune software code
- Demonstratable experience building and supporting reliable, always on backend services
- Experience building solutions using AWS and Terraform
- Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration systems
- Experience with scalable distributed systems
- Experience working with databases (Postgres, Redis, MySQL, Mongo)
- Experience With Angular Or Other Comparable Modern Frontend Tools
- Excellent communications skills: strong verbal and written communication, adaptable to audience
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, careful approach to handling issues
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies

Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
