The role ensures a high-quality candidate experience through tailored engagement and effective negotiation, while continuously improving recruitment operations and reporting.
About the team
The Walmart Global Tech Talent Acquisition team drives strategic technology hiring across multiple U.S. locations for Growth Tech, supporting growth in engineering, data, product, and infrastructure. Acting as trusted advisors, the team collaborates with senior leaders on workforce planning, skill segmentation, and hiring velocity. Leveraging market intelligence, data insights, and structured assessments, they enhance hiring quality and build sustainable recruitment models. The team manages complex, high-volume technical recruitment, influences organizational design, and fosters long-term capabilities that support Walmart’s innovation and growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation competitiveness, and time-to-fill trade-offs using market data and analytics.
- Develop and execute role-level hiring strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce plans.
- Design targeted sourcing approaches for specialized skill sets, leveraging market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Partner with hiring leaders to refine interview frameworks and improve candidate evaluation consistency.
- Negotiate competitive offer packages balancing internal equity and candidate priorities.
- Monitor recruiting metrics to identify process improvements and optimize candidate experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support recruiting operations and technology enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in technical recruitment with strong negotiation skills to secure competitive offers.
- Ability to advise hiring managers using market data and analytics to optimize talent acquisition strategies.
- Experience designing and executing targeted sourcing strategies for specialized and hard-to-fill roles.
- Proficiency in leveraging recruiting metrics and ATS/CRM tools to improve hiring processes and reporting.
- Strong business partnership skills to influence hiring decisions and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Capability to develop structured interview frameworks and enhance candidate evaluation consistency.
- Commitment to operational excellence through continuous process improvement and technology adoption.
Qualifications

- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
- Option 2: 4 years’ experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR).

Pay
- Bentonville, Arkansas: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00.
- Sunnyvale, California: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
