Position Summary
As the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, supporting the Walmart U.S. Merchandising, Marketing, and Decision Sciences orgs you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with organizational goals. This role requires strategic leadership to design competitive total rewards programs, manage cross-functional partnerships, and drive initiatives that support employee engagement and retention. You will oversee project management and organizational change efforts related to total rewards, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams. Your expertise will contribute to creating innovative solutions that enhance the overall employee experience while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
About the team
The Total Rewards Enterprise Design Team addresses Walmart’s complex Total Rewards challenges by simplifying processes and delivering scalable solutions across segments and functions. Leveraging AI and automation, the team enhances delivery speed and impact while reducing friction for associates and leaders. With strong expertise in collaboration, analytics, and stakeholder management, the team transforms insights into actionable strategies. Their commitment to sustainable design supports business objectives and drives continuous improvement, ensuring effective product lifecycle management and fostering adaptability in a dynamic environment.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic guidance on market trends and regulatory compliance impacting total rewards.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive total rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Partner with senior leadership to design competitive and equitable reward solutions.
- Manage cross-functional projects to implement total rewards initiatives effectively.
- Drive organizational change management related to compensation and benefits programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment of total rewards offerings.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field and 3 years’ experience in human resources, compensation, finance, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in human resources, compensation, finance, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Compensation Professional, Human Resources certification, Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Supervisory experience in international business, human resources, or relevant area.
