About the role
The Senior Manager, Talent Architecture and Skills leads the development and maintenance of structured organizational designs, job frameworks, and career ladders that align with business objectives. This role partners with leaders across functions to deliver effective talent solutions, ensuring consistency and objectivity in job evaluation and architecture processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders to design and maintain structured organizations, job architectures, and career ladders aligned with business objectives.
Provide expert consulting on Talent Architecture processes to enable effective talent selection and movement across all levels.
Lead and mentor the Talent Architecture team, driving service excellence and continuous improvement across multiple locations.
Modernize the Talent Architecture process to a more proactive approach supported by AI and automation.
Lead Strategic Talent Pipelines Skills portfolio, partnering with product and tech teams.
Partner cross-functionally to identify process gaps and implement solutions supporting business needs.
Requirements
Proven ability to consult with leaders and stakeholders to create efficient talent architectures supporting workforce planning and mobility.
Strong expertise in job evaluation and job architecture processes ensuring consistency and internal objectivity.
Excellent communication skills to educate and influence business and HR partners on Talent Architecture best practices.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring team members and driving service performance in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Proficiency in data analysis to inform decision-making and continuous process improvement.
Adept process improvement, including utilizing AI and automation to improve efficiency and workflows.
Adaptability to operate effectively within a global, follow-the-sun service model.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in human resources, consulting, compensation, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in human resources, consulting, compensation, or related area.
Preferred qualifications include consulting and advising business partners, Job Valuation, Sam's Club, Supervisory, Walmart Masters: Business, Masters: Human Resources, and Masters: Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
