The Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, leads the development and execution of compliance strategies within their area of responsibility. This role involves monitoring regulatory changes, conducting impact assessments, and advising leadership on compliance risks and opportunities. The position directs policy updates, manages data-driven analyses, and fosters a culture of integrity and accountability. By collaborating across functions, the manager ensures adherence to laws and company standards while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Regulatory Impact and Response team oversees earnings-related regulatory impacts within the Spark business. They lead compliance risk management by monitoring laws, conducting gap analyses, and developing policies to ensure adherence. The team provides strategic recommendations to leadership, manages regulatory forecasts, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating across business units, they address compliance challenges while upholding governance and ethical standards. Their efforts ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and business objectives, fostering a proactive and well-governed environment that supports the organization’s long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Lead compliance and ethics initiatives by monitoring regulations, addressing inquiries, and updating policies with leadership input.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to senior leadership, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Develop and manage legislative assessment strategies, forecasting regulatory trends and conducting gap analyses.
- Serve as subject matter expert on regulatory issues, coordinating research and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance.
- Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and integrity standards across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
- 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration and Project Management Professional certification.

- Extensive experience in governance, regulatory compliance, and compliance risk management within complex organizational environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey compliance strategies and findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Expertise in contingency planning, process improvement, and forecasting to support compliance and ethics initiatives.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and develop actionable compliance recommendations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive execution of compliance programs aligned with business objectives.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
