Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced electrical safety expert to join our team. The successful candidate will manage electrical design and installation safety compliance for a large retail design/construction operation.

What you'll do...

  • Develop, maintain, and update policies, standards, and procedures related to electrical designs and installations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Facilities Maintenance, to ensure electrical designs and installations meet safety and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to electrical contractors and maintenance personnel on electrical safety best practices and NFPA 70E guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E and implement changes as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NFPA 70E (Arc flash/safety standard) required.
  • Electrical engineer preferred. Engineers with practical experience as a master or journeyman electrician a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across various business units.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel to various store locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock
