Position Summary
Responsible for operational work processes within the Distribution Center, driving end-to-end improvements through strategic partnerships and continuous improvement tools.
What you'll do...
- Create strategic leadership partnerships with key management to drive process improvements.
- Manage workload of Process Quality Engineers to balance network-driven projects and specific building improvements.
- Apply continuous improvement tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Time and Motion Studies, Statistical Process Control, Process Deviation, 5S, and Six Sigma to eliminate losses and create standards.
- Support the Walmart Performance System by engaging leaders, demonstrating program effectiveness, and solving problems.
- Collaborate in One Best Way standard implementation and deviation processes.
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating plans, removing barriers, and supporting continuous learning.
- Supervise and develop associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, establishing performance expectations, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing recognition and rewards, coaching for success, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others, ensuring compliance, and utilizing the Open Door Policy.
- Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, managers, coworkers, or other key stakeholders, soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement work or related area, or
- 6 years’ experience in Engineering, Continuous Improvement work or related area.
- 4 years’ experience leading teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System elements (e.g., Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Quality Key Performance Indicators).
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Engineering.
