(USA) Quality Systems Specialist - Dairy, FRI - MON 7:00 AM - 5:30PM
About the Role
This role ensures quality systems compliance and drives improvements by providing guidance, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and monitoring their effectiveness. You will support compliance and regulatory objectives, participate in audits, prepare documentation, and lead teams to meet business needs while upholding Walmart’s standards of ethics and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with quality systems such as CAPA, Non-Conformance, Trending, Customer Complaints, System/Process Change Control, and auditing of food safety, quality systems, and manufacturing practices.
- Issue non-conformances for gaps in quality programs, notify leaders and associates, and monitor the status and closure of actions.
- Assess the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and recommend improvements for sensitive information and processes.
- Support compliance and regulatory objectives by participating in customer and regulatory audits, presenting programs and records, and identifying process improvements.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Annual Product Reviews to aid management decision-making.
- Verify documentation requirements to ensure products are produced to specification, meeting safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and ensuring timelines and work quality are achieved.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing information, and monitoring progress.

Requirements
- 2 years’ quality assurance and/or quality control experience within a related environment (e.g., dairy plant, food processing, manufacturing).
- 2 years’ clerical experience using computer applications (e.g., email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Visio).

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $23.30 - $25.30. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
