Position Summary
Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and managing pharmacy operations.
What you'll do...
- Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware.
- Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise.
- Maintains the Pharmacy area by handling claims and returns, utilizing equipment, and performing merchandising functions.
- Maintains the prescription fulfillment process by processing information for third-party insurance claims, rescanning images, and resolving issues.
- Provides patient/member service by assisting the pharmacist, processing prescription orders, and resolving issues.
- Enters prescription data into pharmacy software, reads prescriptions, and creates or modifies patient/member records.
- Fills prescriptions by retrieving orders, counting, pouring, measuring, or weighing medications, and operating scanning equipment.
- Verifies and enters patient information into the TaSCO system, retrieves prescriptions, and completes paperwork.
- Completes work assignments by following policies, data, and resources, and adapting to changes.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Serves customers and members by delivering results, balancing priorities, and considering impacts on team performance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.
