Position Summary

TourToTeach, driving financial performance and sales, supervises and develops teams, provides exceptional customer service, ensures compliance, and offers various benefits.

What you'll do...

  • Tour stores and provide feedback to associates, leading team development and change efforts.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates, focusing on store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Model and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manage customer service initiatives, and resolve customer issues.
  • Review and evaluate PL Profit Loss statements, manage budgets, forecast, and control expenses, ensuring they align with sales.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability for achieving results.
  • Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses in designated business areas.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on executing business processes and practices.
  • Respect the Individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and regional pay zone (RPZ) and complex structure differentials, where applicable.

Live Better U

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Additional Compensation

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), and State Pay Differential (where applicable).
