Position Summary
TourToTeach, driving financial performance and sales, supervises and develops teams, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
What you'll do...
- Tour stores and provide feedback to associates, teaching training and actively listening to improve store operations.
- Collaborate with all levels of associates regarding merchandising and company direction, leading change efforts and providing clear expectations.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, resolving customer needs, complaints, and issues, and implementing action plans for process improvement.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and ensuring accountability for results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, modeling the Walmart values, and acting with integrity.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Prior to Employment
- For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
- For facilities selling only ammunition and state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
