Position Summary

TourtoTeach leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. They provide feedback, communicate with all levels of associates, introduce and lead company change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide business solutions.

What you'll do...

  • Tour stores and provide feedback to associates.
  • Collaborate with associates at all levels regarding store operations.
  • Utilize technology and business initiatives to improve store operations.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts.
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
  • Follow and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
  • Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area.
  • Review and evaluate Profit & Loss (PL) statements.
  • Manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintain effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates.
  • Hire, train, mentor, assign duties, provide recognition, promote a belonging mindset, and recruit and develop qualified associates.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments.
  • Supports key stakeholders, plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Identifies and communicates goals and objectives.
  • Buys into accountability for and measures progress in achieving results.
  • Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00.
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 years’ of college; OR
    • 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
    • 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
    • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
