About the Role
This position involves driving and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety. It includes forecasting staffing, workload, and performance results, as well as preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports to identify operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates)
- Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety)
- Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands
- Prepare, review, and/or analyze business reports and use information to identify operational improvements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives
- Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using own judgment or consulting others when needed
- Supervise and manage associates and leaders by providing direction, monitoring performance, and offering feedback
- Identify training and development needs, provide learning opportunities, and model Logistics and company policies and procedures
- Participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management)
- 1 year's experience in operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring and promotion
- OR 1 year's experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager with similar responsibilities
- OR 3 years' experience in operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment with similar responsibilities

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location and stock options.
