(USA) Manager I, Asset Protection - All DC/FC

Join Sam’s Club Asset Protection team in Supply Chain as a Manager 1, Asset Protection. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to safeguard associates and assets, ensure compliance, and drive loss prevention initiatives across the supply chain network.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data quality and leverage data visualization tools to create insightful dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
• Provide complex business issue solutions and develop business cases with projected returns on investment or cost savings.
• Operate and maintain tools for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution, and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
• Recognize and investigate security breaches, thefts, and vandalism; implement access control procedures and maintain loss prevention records.
• Coordinate and support regulatory visits, prepare audit reports, and implement methods to improve and control key processes.
• Design emergency evacuation plans, train evacuation leaders, and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry-specific health and safety guidelines.
• Engage with team members to establish credibility, analyze stakeholder needs, and communicate effectively to drive business solutions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of data analytics, visualization tools, and technology innovation trends.
• Experience in business case development, problem-solving, and understanding of business workflows.
• Expertise in environmental policies, applicable laws, and compliance strategies.
• Proficiency in asset protection policies, security investigation techniques, and loss prevention methods.
• Skills in stakeholder communication, engagement, and influential communication techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safety auditing processes, and emergency evacuation planning.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements, lead incident investigations, and provide countermeasure solutions.

Qualifications

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position:

• 2 years' experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environment.
• Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety Management, Audit, or related field; AND 1 years' experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, and Manufacturing, or related field.
• Option 2: 3 years' experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, Safety or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more certifications such as Loss Prevention Certification (LPC), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or Non-degreed certifications like Certified Safety Manager, or related.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $73,500.00 - $106,500.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
