Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations. Drive operational improvements, manage budgets, and foster a culture of inclusion and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and in writing.
- Implement the business plan to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety; lead operational improvements.
- Forecast staffing needs, monitor workload, and track performance to meet business demands.
- Manage assigned financial aspects, including monitoring expenses, capital expenditures, asset utilization, and preparing business reports.
- Ensure compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures; develop and maintain supporting documentation.
- Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others as needed.
- Supervise and manage associates and leaders: provide direction, monitor performance, give feedback, identify training needs, and support growth opportunities.
- Teach, model, and uphold Walmart policies and procedures; participate in hiring, promotions, coaching, and evaluations.
- Oversee daily maintenance department operations, including material handling equipment, pneumatic/electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration, and general building repairs.
- Ensure associate compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT).
- Build high-performing, diverse teams; create an inclusive workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
- Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact to motivate and influence.
- Attract, retain, and develop talent; recognize contributions and accomplishments.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance; hold self and others accountable.

Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification (e.g., Maintenance, Controls, Electrical) and 1 year of experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail, including supervising/developing managers, managing multi-department workloads, and participating in hiring/promotions.
- OR at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance or related technical environment with the same leadership and staffing responsibilities.
- Must complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in facility maintenance, financial modeling, or managing workforce challenges.
- Proficiency with material handling equipment (MHE), forecasting, budgeting, or P&L accountability.
- Project management, recruiting, or talent development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Operations Management.

Pay
Annual salary range: $104,000 – $156,000. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses, regional pay zone adjustments (based on location), and stock.
