(USA) Maintenance Manager (fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, Wm.com)
Position Summary
Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production quality, safety, and operational improvements.
What you'll do...
- Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, e.g., customers, suppliers, associates.
- Forecast and follow up on staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.
- Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing/reviewing/analyzing business reports.
- Maintain compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
- Ensure associate/customer/supplier concerns are resolved using own judgment or consulting others when needed.
- Supervise and manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, and providing opportunities for learning and growth.
- Oversee maintenance department daily operations by monitoring and driving department performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment, material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, general building repairs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, such as OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT, etc.
- Oversee and direct financial aspects as assigned and/or in area of responsibility by monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing/reviewing/analyzing business reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification (e.g., Maintenance, Controls, Electrical) and 1 year of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment with responsibilities including: supervising and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload across multiple departments, participating in hiring and promotions.
- OR at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance or related technical environment with the same leadership and staffing responsibilities listed above.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification (e.g., Maintenance, Controls, Electrical)

Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Stock.
