About the Role
Performs general cleaning duties for inedible production lines, including floor areas and equipment framework. Maintains cleanliness of the production area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards and health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Empties and cleans waste containers and ensures waste is disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitors and refills cleaning supplies as needed.
- Complies with all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Regularly inspects the facility and reports any maintenance issues or health and safety hazards.
- Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Uses personal protective equipment and operates machinery and equipment safely.
- Reports any hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
- Actively participates in safety training and drills.
- Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols.
- Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Successfully completes work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing policies and available resources.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.90 - $27.40. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
