Performs general cleaning duties throughout the facility, including common areas, offices, bathrooms, and windows. Follows safety procedures and ensures common areas remain free from hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily cleaning tasks:
    • Sweeping
    • Mopping
    • Vacuuming
    • Dusting surfaces
    • Cleaning windows
    • Emptying trash bins
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks:
    • Changing light bulbs
    • Repairing minor leaks
    • Reporting major maintenance issues to management
  • Receive Hepatitis vaccinations in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Inspect common areas to identify damages or repair needs and report issues to management.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely.
  • Report hazards, near misses, injuries, and accidents immediately.
  • Actively participate in safety training sessions and emergency drills.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas to help prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of workplace safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Successfully complete work assignments and prioritize tasks using company policies and available resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Carry out assigned tasks while communicating progress and relevant information to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn from change, challenges, and feedback.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.80 - $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
