About the Role
Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You’ll properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while assisting members with their bakery orders, helping to create a great shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
- Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
- Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
- Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies, including handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
- Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, and adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment while demonstrating an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, merchandise receiving, and training.
- Drive the performance of the area by managing high exposure and expectations, stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control, and eliminating waste.
- Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for and experience with fresh food.
- Food Service or Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
