(USA) Freight Flow Associate (Overnight Merchandising)

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding, supporting, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking, rotating, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up displays, and ensuring proper zoning.
• Handles club pick-up orders by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing orders for accuracy.
• Manages inventory by tracking goods, maintaining stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor practices.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe manner, reporting poor or unsafe conditions.
• Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services, taking steps to fix problems and maintain equipment.
• Respects individuals by embracing differences, fostering a culture of belonging, and supporting associates.
• Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics, complying with Walmart values, and holding oneself and others accountable.
• Serves customers and members by delivering results, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering the impact of work on team goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
