Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
  • Picks up, moves, and positions merchandise and supplies.
  • Completes work assignments and collaborates with managers and coworkers.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
  • Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
  • Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly.
  • Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
  • Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems.
  • Proactively identifies customers needing help and assists them with technology services.
  • Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and controls shrinkage.
  • Ensures club pick-up orders are filled and merchandise is staged correctly.
  • Processes defective merchandise and follows company policies and procedures for sanitation and food safety.
  • Monitors the area for shrink, security risks, and safety.
  • Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
  • Tells management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
  • Proactively identifies customers needing help and assists them with technology services.
  • Models and helps others with technology services.
  • Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
  • Respects individuals by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, and recognizing contributions.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates positively to motivate and influence others.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Supervising a team.
