Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Picks up, moves, places, and positions merchandise and supplies.
• Organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
• Proactively identifies customers needing help and assists them with technology services.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
• Maintains and organizes products and ensures they are stocked correctly.
• Performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing.
• Handles defective merchandise according to company and regulatory policies.
• Monitors the area for shrink, security risks, and safety.
• Manages inventory levels and controls shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
• Tells management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
• Proactively identifies customers needing help and assists them with technology services.
• Models and helps others with technology services.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
