The Director, Software Engineering leads the execution and delivery of complex software and AI/ML systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role oversees the full development lifecycle, champions DevOps practices, and drives cloud cost optimization to enhance engineering efficiency. The position requires strong leadership to build and mentor high-performing teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and align roadmaps with business priorities. The Director fosters continuous improvement, technical excellence, and operational rigor while maintaining accountability for quality and timely delivery of innovative technology solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead execution of complex software, data, and AI/ML systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and integration across platforms.
- Oversee full software development lifecycle, championing DevOps practices and cloud cost optimization to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver AI-enabled features and autonomous agentic systems.
- Manage engineering dependencies, align roadmaps with organizational priorities, and drive backlog prioritization and capacity planning.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering professional growth and sustaining talent pipelines.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure technical ownership, quality standards, and timely delivery of solutions.

- Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. 3 years' supervisory experience.

Pay Range
The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.
