The Director, Product Marketing leads the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance product awareness and adoption across multiple markets. This role oversees market research, stakeholder collaboration, and the design of training and presentation programs to support product success. By leveraging business data analysis and influential communication, the Director drives cross-functional initiatives that align with organizational goals.

About the team

The Product Marketing team leads the complete product marketing lifecycle, from shaping product direction using market and seller insights to defining positioning and messaging. The team drives integrated go-to-market strategies and focuses on ongoing product adoption, engagement, and growth post-launch. Success is measured by the value delivered to sellers and the business impact created. This team collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and leverages market research and product adoption strategies to maximize product performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Oversee market research initiatives to inform product positioning and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Design and deliver product training programs and demonstrations to enhance client proficiency and retention.
  • Utilize business data analysis to evaluate marketing effectiveness and guide decision-making.
  • Manage the creation and presentation of proposals and marketing communications to support product launches.
  • Foster partnerships across the value chain to optimize marketing impact and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product marketing with a strong focus on product awareness and adoption strategies.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective product training, demos, and usability analyses.
  • Expertise in market research methodologies and the ability to translate findings into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration across cross-functional teams and partner engagement.
  • Proficiency in business data analysis tools to evaluate market trends and support decision-making.
  • Strong team leadership and coaching skills with experience leading teams of 3-5.
  • Exceptional communication skills to influence and present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and 4 years' experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Option 2: 7 years' experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Masters: Business Administration

Pay

Annual salary ranges:

  • Bentonville, Arkansas: $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
  • Hoboken, New Jersey: $132,000.00 - $264,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
