(USA) Director, Operations and Implementation
About the role
The Director of Supply Chain Operational Excellence is responsible for driving operational excellence; including continuous improvement, change management, and large-scale projects to deliver value for associates, customers of the Non-Sort Fulfillment Centers (FC), Inbound Consolidation Centers (ICC), and Two-Tier sites. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end new capabilities, and optimizing network performance to support Walmart’s evolving supply chain.
Role summary
This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution—partnering cross-functionally to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions while improving speed, capacity, throughput, service, productivity, and cost outcomes across the network.
What you'll do
- Lead Multi-Segment Strategy & Execution
- Own and align operational strategies across Fulfillment & Reverse teams
- Drive end-to-end performance improvements across site and cluster
- Translate enterprise priorities into actionable roadmaps and execution plans
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve throughput, cost efficiency, inventory flow, and service levels
- Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and prioritize initiatives
- Build & Lead High-Performing Teams
- Develop, coach, and lead high-performing teams across multiple functional areas
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Strengthen Cross-Functional Partnerships
- Partner with Product, Technology, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Influence at all levels to align on priorities and drive results

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Logistics Supply Chain, Communications, or related field and 5 years’ experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area.
- 2 years’ supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters: Business Administration

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock
