Position Summary
TourToTeach, a leader in store operations, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead and develop teams within our retail environment. This role involves leading teams through training, actively listening to associates, and providing feedback. Additionally, this person will manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
What you'll do...
- Tour stores and provide feedback to associates
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations
- Utilize technology and business initiatives to improve store operations
- Lead and introduce company change efforts
- Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions
- Communicate business objectives to teams effectively
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards
- Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and Community Outreach Programs
- Develop and implement action plans to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
- Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
- Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
- Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
- Act with integrity by maintaining and promoting the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, modeling the Walmart values, and holding oneself and others accountable

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR
- 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Note: If none of the above qualifications are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
