Position Summary

Operates the commercial band saw safely and efficiently while following all established operating and safety procedures.

What you'll do...

• Accurately counts and positions products to ensure precise and consistent cuts.
• Accurately positions finished products on the takeaway belt to ensure proper cleansing through the bone wash process.
• Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and efficiency targets.
• Makes appropriate adjustments to maintain production requirements.
• Operates and cleans equipment to optimize throughput and minimize production downtime.
• Promptly communicates mechanical, equipment, or operational issues to the appropriate team member or management.
• Maintains process and equipment performance data to support quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Uses required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitors equipment performance and makes appropriate adjustments to maintain production requirements.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas to help prevent accidents and injuries.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintains awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintains accuracy and consistency when cutting and positioning products.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80.
