Position Summary
Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, and proper inventory levels.
What you'll do...
- Receives and stocks merchandise ensuring effective presentation, accurate pricing, and proper inventory levels.
- Budgets and forecasts sales, assesses economic trends and community needs, and implements plans to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Provides customer service and assistance by acknowledging customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintains the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and maintaining equipment.
- Handles customer and merchandise claims and returns, zonings the area, ordering supplies, and ensuring environmental compliance and customer safety.
- Captures and processes customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, explains Auto Care Center and automotive products and services, and trains and certifies technicians on service-related procedures.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, and provides direction and guidance on executing business processes and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Experience in automotive service or service industry related field.
- Supervisory experience.
- ASE Certification.
