Position Summary

Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, and proper inventory levels.

What you'll do...

  • Receives and stocks merchandise ensuring effective presentation, accurate pricing, and proper inventory levels.
  • Budgets and forecasts sales, assesses economic trends, and community needs.
  • Ensures sales and profit goals are achieved and implements plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provides customer service and assistance by acknowledging customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
  • Maintains the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, signing and pricing merchandise, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, maintaining equipment, handling customer and merchandise claims and returns, zoning the area, ordering supplies, and monitoring for environmental disposal (e.g., batteries, tires, oil, OSHA compliance).
  • Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset among associates.
  • Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments, identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals and objectives, and builds accountability for achieving results.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, and provides direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field.
    • 1 year of supervisory experience.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute.
    • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
    • Experience in automotive service or service industry related field.
    • Supervisory experience.
    • ASE Certification.

    Additional Information

    • The annual salary range for this position is $71,000.00 - $100,000.00.
    • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
    • Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).
    • State Pay Differential: Washington State - Differential to meet legislative requirements: Coach - $10,000 (Annually).
    • For facilities that sell firearms, a successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
    • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
    • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
