(USA) Area Manager - Floor

About the role

You will implement the business plan for your area by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
• Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures and documentation.
• Identify associate, customer, or supplier concerns, determine corrective actions, and make recommendations for resolution.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching policies, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
• Build high-performing teams by embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences; fostering a culture of belonging; and creating opportunities for all associates to thrive.
• Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence others.
• Attract, retain, and develop talent while recognizing contributions and accomplishments.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
• 1 year's Walmart Logistics Management experience OR
• 2 years' Walmart Logistics experience OR
• 2 years' supervisory experience.
• Associates must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Experience with Walmart Logistics Systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
