About the role

You will implement the business plan for your area by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility targets in production, quality, and safety. You will monitor and manage productivity through preparation, review, and analysis of business reports, and maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained, monitoring compliance, and distributing supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
  • Manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties, and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals.
  • Prepare, review, and/or analyze business reports to monitor and manage productivity.
  • Ensure associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor compliance; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns; consult with others to determine corrective actions or recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; teach, support, and model logistics and company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
  • 1 year’s Walmart Logistics Management experience OR
  • 2 years’ Walmart Logistics experience OR
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 – $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Some positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
