About the role

TG0 is looking for a US-based technical account contact to stand in for the UK commercial and engineering team at meetings, demos, and trade shows when travel from the UK isn't possible.

Responsibilities

  • Attend in-person meetings, demos, and trade shows on TG0's behalf when the UK team cannot travel.
  • Maintain continuity with US-based contacts between UK visits, so relationships don't go quiet for lack of a local presence.
  • Deliver accurate, detailed briefings back to the UK commercial and engineering team after every engagement.
  • Run technical qualification calls and product demonstrations using TG0's existing materials, briefed and approved by the UK team.
  • Support logistics for US trade shows and events (on-site setup, demo equipment, scheduling) alongside the UK team's direction.
  • Keep HubSpot records current for any US-based engagement, following TG0's existing sales funnel stages.
  • Flag anything commercially or technically sensitive that would need sign-off before being used externally, rather than answering on the spot.

Candidate profile

  • Technical aptitude sufficient to credibly discuss TG0's sensing technology with engineers, even without originating the relationship; a background in technical account management, sales engineering, or customer success in a hardware or component context is a strong fit.
  • Comfortable representing someone else's product and positioning accurately, including TG0's standard for verified claims, rather than improvising in the room.
  • Strong, precise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Based in or near the NYC area, with willingness to travel domestically on short notice.
  • An existing network in automotive, consumer electronics, or robotics is a plus but not a prerequisite, since the role is coverage and continuity rather than relationship origination.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other STEM backgrounds is a must.
