US Seasonal Tax-Private Tax-Manager

About the role

The Seasonal Tax Manager role within EY's Private Client Services (PCS) team offers an opportunity to support high-growth privately held companies and their owners and families. This role involves reviewing complex individual tax returns, income tax planning, partnership tax compliance, and S Corp tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review complex individual tax returns
• Income tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families
• Partnership tax compliance
• S Corp tax compliance

Requirements

• Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance for private client individuals, partnerships, and/or S Corps

Qualifications

• A strategic eye toward prioritizing multiple complex projects
• Influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes
• The ability to produce technical writing and research in a tax context
• Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax
• A thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning
• Comfort with remote work in a virtual team environment

Benefits

Hourly, over-time eligible pay with a range of $90/hr to $120/hr, depending on location and qualifications. Flexible work arrangements and opportunities for skill development are provided.
