US Premium Finance Loan Activation Specialist
About the role
The Loan Activation Specialist at Ameris Bank is responsible for ensuring loan packages meet underwriting guidelines, communicating with internal staff, brokers, and insurance companies, and reviewing all documents received. This role involves protecting the company's collateral by reviewing and processing premium finance agreements for funding, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes incoming loan documentation to ensure satisfaction of company underwriting guidelines.
- Obtains and/or provides any missing information to complete required file documentation.
- Maintains open communication with team members and operations managers.
- Attends and participates in all required processing training and meetings.
- Provides a high level of processing support to inexperienced Loan Activation Specialists requiring additional assistance on high volume of complex files.

- Industry and work experience: 2 years of experience in document processing role, preferred: Premium finance and/or commercial P&C experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- PC proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
