Premium Finance Specialist

About the role

Aon is seeking a Premium Finance Specialist to join our hybrid team in Chicago or New York, with remote options considered. This role focuses on enhancing client experiences and delivering differentiated client value through financing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify clients and prospects for financing opportunities.
• Generate new premium finance loans and manage the client retention process.
• Research, analyze, and prepare proposals and finance agreements for ARS clients.
• Provide guidance and support to clients and Aon colleagues on premium finance matters.
• Collate and maintain account data from ARS account teams and collaborate with premium finance companies.
• Create and follow up on proposals, negotiate insurance premium finance alternatives, and manage debt resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with key market leaders and regional leaders to drive growth and achieve benchmark targets.
• Train and educate Aon account teams on premium finance topics.

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial documents, insurance industry structure, and policies.
• Basic understanding of insurance coverages and ability to read binders.
• 1-3 years of insurance premium finance experience preferred, or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft products, particularly Copilot/ChatGPT, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant premium finance or insurance industry work experience.

Pay

The salary range for this position (for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 to $105,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data.
