About the role

As a US Payroll Specialist at PointClickCare – Finance, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and providing support to employees and management. You will also be responsible for processing payroll transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees
  • Provide support to employees and management regarding payroll issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve payroll-related problems
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration or similar field
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Gusto)
  • Strong attention to detail
