US Patriot Senior Lead Retail Sales Associate

About the role

The Senior Lead Retail Sales Associate at U.S. Patriot Tactical is responsible for managing all aspects of a store, from scheduling employees to ensuring products are fully stocked and correctly displayed. This role requires a strong understanding of the products sold, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and coach the sales team to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of a US Patriot store, including the supervision of all store employees
  • Scheduling: Efficiently schedule all employees while taking into consideration each subordinate’s requests for hours
  • Training: Sales/product training, upsell/cross sell, POS procedures, shelf facing and stocking
  • Sales and Merchandising: Will ensure products are fully stocked, correctly tagged, properly faced, and in the correct category
  • Create a sales plan to meet the store’s sales obligations
  • Encourage employees to perform by setting sales goals and a plan to meet store goals
  • Hiring and terminating employees based on the company's hiring process
  • Ensure that customers have an outstanding, pleasant shopping experience
  • Communicate customer requests to the District Manager and Planner so we can bring in new items as soon as possible
  • Accurately receive all deliveries of merchandise to the store in a timely, accurate manner
  • Check inventory regularly
  • Complete accurate, timely paperwork and reports
  • Model safety standards and promptly report accidents

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three years of previous experience with retail management preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem analysis, and decision-making
  • Financial and quantitative analysis (preferred)
  • Demonstrate ability to manage the sales team to achieve the company's sales goals
  • Proven ability to motivate and coach others
  • Ability to continuously move around all areas of the store daily
  • Work flexible shift hours, 7 days a week

Qualifications

  • Must know the gear (study catalogs) to assist customers
  • Encourage employees to perform by setting sales goals and a plan to meet store goals
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and respect for the position with the Company, coworkers, AAFES Staff, Clients, and Customers
