Responsibilities
- Oversight of all site financial operations, including monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Analyzing financial performance, such as sales, costs, profitability, and cash flow, to support business decisions.
- Collaborating with operations and sales on areas like order activity, shipping performance, customer profitability, and forecast accuracy.
- Maintaining and monitoring costs, conducting variance analysis, and managing inventory accounting (valuation, reserves, cycle counts, excess & obsolete).
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and audit requirements (both internal and external).
- Leading and developing the finance team, enhancing processes, systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling (finance/accounting roles).
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, General Ledger (GL), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience with audits and internal control frameworks.
- Proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement.
