What You’ll Be Doing
- Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead U.S. accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, cost/inventory accounting, and period-end closures
- Ensure timely and accurate budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure clear communication on actuals vs Forecast for the US businesses
- Deliver proactive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinates US Capex investments activities
- Support the Operations leadership teams for the US plants
- Technical Accounting & Operations
- Oversee technical accounting functions: invoicing, costing, inventory, payroll/labor, and GL processes
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimize working capital and operational efficiency
- Maintain proficiency in global financial systems to ensure data integrity and effective decision support
- Controls & Integration
- Maintain and enhance internal control policies and procedures
- Support acquisition integration by aligning new processes with existing business standards
- Team Development & Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering ownership and accountability
- Promote continuous learning and professional development through training and industry engagement
- Support cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc requests across departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a global manufacturing or industrial setting
- CPA or CMA
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and internal controls
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools
