About the role

The Agile Software Engineer will be responsible for developing scalable web applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular. They must have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, REST APIs, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, REST APIs, and other related technologies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and standards.
• Perform unit testing and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing scalable web applications.
• Strong experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, REST APIs, JSON, HTML5, CSS, AWS, GCP, NoSQL, Agile Scrum, SDLC, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, Git, Jira, Software Architecture, and Scalable Applications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and willingness to complete a Glider Software Engineer (Agile) assessment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
