About the role
The Channel Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, driving growth and success in key distribution channels such as RIAs, broker-dealers, and wirehouses. This role requires a proven track record of developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies, with experience in investment management marketing or distribution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aligned to channel priorities
- Define channel-specific marketing approaches, including target audiences, messaging, and campaign strategies, in collaboration with Marketing and Business Development
- Partner with digital, social, creative and content teams to deliver cohesive, cross-channel campaigns
- Work closely with National Accounts and Sales to support platform initiatives, partner campaigns, and advisor outreach
- Serve as the primary point of contact for advisory channel marketing needs, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
- Support and enhance sales enablement efforts, including content development, effective use of tools such as Seismic and LinkedIn, and ensuring the delivery of campaign intelligence to support sales efforts
- Maintain compliance submission and approval processes for marketing materials at sponsor firms' compliance
- Track and analyze campaign performance, providing relevant insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness
- Contribute to the development of reporting systems that track progress against engagement and business objectives
Qualifications
- Proven track record of developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies within channels (RIA, broker-dealer, wirehouse)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is also acceptable
- 7–10+ years of experience in investment management marketing or distribution. Experience with separately managed account distribution is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage campaigns, priorities, and stakeholders in fast-paced settings. Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Experience partnering with Sales and National Accounts to support distribution initiatives, advisor engagement, and growth objectives
- Solid understanding of channel dynamics, including platform relationships and advisor-facing marketing approaches
- Working knowledge of marketing and compliance requirements when executing campaigns with wirehouses and broker-dealers
- Experience using marketing and sales enablement tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Seismic, and LinkedIn. Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making
