Responsibilities
- Daily Operational Management
- Hiring, evaluating, and providing annual performance evaluations to staff
- Evaluation and implementation of patient services policies and procedures
- Conflict resolution, coaching, counseling, and growth and development
- Determination of appropriate staffing levels and maintaining employee schedules
- Staff payroll and individual staff HR records creation and management
- Financial management including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Inventory and purchasing oversight in accordance with budget
- Preparation of preliminary capital and human resources budgets
- On-site IT support and vendor oversight
- Safety, security, customer service, HIPAA, risk management, compliance, and code training
- Building repairs and practice construction project oversight
- Review and enforcement of regulatory compliance, building safety, and code regulations
- Auditing physician services at practice locations and managing physician schedules
- Serving as a point of contact for physician paperwork, meeting requests, and billing reconciliation
- Serving as a liaison between physicians, associates, and organizational leaders
- Performance Management
- Monitoring patient satisfaction data and making improvements
- Investigating financial variances to budget and making recommendations
- Aiding the Director in practice-specific long-range financial and business planning, capital, and operating budgets
- Developing and executing plans to improve outcomes
- Providing and reviewing monthly physician and practice performance data with all providers
- Collaborating with the Director, marketing, and business development to market and grow the practice
- Organizational Transformation
- Translating and educating staff on organizational strategy and vision
- Communicating and executing organizational change initiatives within the practice
- Serving on committees to optimize performance
- Piloting, implementing, and championing new programs, services, and processes
- Enhancing operational effectiveness and cost containment through continued innovation without compromising quality of care
- Bachelor's Degree
- Healthcare or Business Administration or related field required; Master’s Degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of related health care experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting including 5 years of supervision or management
- Minimum of 10 years of health care management experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting, may be substituted in lieu of requirements in certain circumstances
