Urology Hospitalist

Novant Health Surgical Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join our established urology team in Wilmington, North Carolina, providing inpatient care in a Urology Hospitalist role.

About the role

This is an inpatient-only position focused on consults, procedures, surgeries, and the management of hospitalized urology patients in collaboration with our office-based physicians. There are no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

• Inpatient-only Urology Hospitalist position
• Consultation service supporting an established outpatient urology practice
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Alternating 7-on/7-off schedule
• No overnight call
• Dedicated OR block time
• Supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers
• Practice supported by the EPIC electronic medical record
• Join an established urology practice with approximately 14 years of serving the Wilmington community
• Collaborative team consisting of 6 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers
• Full spectrum of general urology services

Alternating 7-on/7-off block schedule.
