About the role

The Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) in Madison, Wisconsin is recruiting an outstanding urologist to join our nationally recognized program. We are seeking a general urologist to focus on clinical care, however we will consider urologists with fellowship training and would modify clinical duties accordingly.

Job Duties

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
• Work in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of Urology Residency required.
• Candidates must have excellent clinical skills and a strong history of academic accomplishment.
• Must have or be eligible for a Wisconsin Medical License.
• Must have board certification or board eligibility in Urology through the American Board of Urology.
• Must be eligible for enrollment as a UW Health billing provider and all necessary hospital privileges.

Compensation

The starting salary for the position is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Negotiable, 12 month Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays, and sick leave; competitive insurances and savings accounts; retirement benefits.
