Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program
- Licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- Certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Clinical Skills For Urogynecology: Evaluation, treatment, and management of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, fecal incontinence, or defecatory dysfunction.
- Evaluation and management of admission orders
- Performing catheterization of the bladder, bladder irrigations, installations
- Performing cystoscopy in office setting (possibly)
- Developing discharge orders and self-care instructions or individualized plan of care
