Urogynecology Norwich - Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program
• Licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
• Certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Clinical Skills For Urogynecology: Evaluation, treatment, and management of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, fecal incontinence, or defecatory dysfunction.
• Evaluation and management of admission orders
• Performing catheterization of the bladder, bladder irrigations, installations
• Performing cystoscopy in office setting (possibly)
• Developing discharge orders and self-care instructions or individualized plan of care
