UROGYNECOLOGIST
About the role
The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper Health University is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Urogynecologist for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Responsibilities
- Have completed a fellowship program in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery; achieved or eligible for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and subspecialty certificate in Urogynecology, and have or be eligible for an unrestricted New Jersey Medical License;
- Fully support the academic, clinical, and educational missions of our program including creating scholarly work, improving quality metrics, and creating a positive learning environment (additional experience in basic science research will be regarded as a significant asset);
- Display the passion, communication, and interpersonal skills required to build an active clinical practice, develop areas of productive scholarship, and recruit additional faculty;
- Have a level of academic achievement to warrant appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University;
- Significantly influence the direction of our program, and join like-minded faculty committed to our mission of being at the cutting edge of Urogynecology!
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Active medical license
- Innovative spirit in the clinical setting, superior teamwork with interdisciplinary collaborative approach, desire to work with underserved populations
