Responsibilities
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Advise clients on tax strategies to minimize estate, gift, and income tax liabilities.
- Administer estates and probate after a client's death.
- Create and manage trusts for asset protection and wealth transfer.
- Develop business succession plans for business owners transitioning ownership.
- Provide legal counsel on tax compliance and IRS matters, including audits, disputes, and regulatory issues.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar license in good standing.
- Experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
