Urgent Hiring - Spinning Operator - Carterville, GA

Responsibilities

• Pick up packages of yarn from as low as floor level and place on creel package (approximately 12 lbs each, 260 per shift).
• Take finished packages off Doff tray and place on buggy (packages weigh from 1 lb to 10 lbs each).
• Push finished buggy to Gilbo inspection area (weight up to 600 lbs).
• Bend to creel, rethread machine, and place packages at shoulder height on creel and buggy.
• Use tools including ring knife or snips.
• Take twisted yarn off the Doff conveyor and place in a plastic box at the end of the Twister.
• Push buggy to cable twister (weighs approximately 360 lbs).
• Place packages on creel posts ranging from 20 inches from the floor to about shoulder height.
• Thread machine into Heatset box, then thread into take-up winder on the rear of the machine.
